Here at EDELHOLZ we truly believe in the beauty of a design that fulfils all aspects of thoughtful design. We set out to find a coaster that meets all three of a coasters main function – Scratch Protection, Condensation Management and a Beautiful Design. We struggled to find a coaster that met our standards and so EDELHOLZ was born.

Our unique Australian Hardwood Coasters are designed with all 3 elements in mind. Scratch protection created by using the natural properties of wood and precisely hand sanded to sit perfectly, protecting the surface it’s on. Condensation management through the unique design of a well, collecting your drink’s condensation and any spillage that does occur. Our coasters were inspired by traditional furniture accents with raised legs, curved edges and designed to highlight the natural beauty of Australian hardwoods.

All coasters are finished in our unique process creating a hard wearing protective coat that will last lifetimes. We use all natural products in the form of pure Tung oil which is food safe, hypoallergenic and is water and alcohol resistant. To find out more about this finish please read our post here.
